Ephesus , Horse Riding
Upon your arrival at the pier meet with your guide outside the sliding doors of the custom and proceed together to the awaiting vehicle. Driving along the main boulevard of the city we follow a scenic drive to reach the Ancient city of Ephesus. In the course of the excavations, which have now lasted over a century, only ten percent of the ancient city of Ephesus has been unearthed. And yet, Ephesus is considered one of the great outdoor museums of Turkey and one of the biggest and well preserved from all around the world! Excavations will go on for many years together with restoration works allowing us to imagine its beauty. Entering the site from the Upper Gate we brave the original marble street visiting the most important structures of the ancient city, receiving in same time a special assistance from your guide. Ephesus site it’s a great outdoor museum for children where they can be pictured with the statues and monuments, fake gladiator fights in the theatres, observe the archeologist on work, and most, challenge their imagination! As well for fun, feed the cats of Ephesus.

After our journey in history, we take a little time to relax and enjoy a traditional Turkish meal at the handicraft center. With this chance we learn more about the Turkish culture, customs and cuisine, observe and interact with the local people and have a tour to the authentic Turkish arts.

At the Safari Park – a fantastic location near Kusadasi where you and the kids can enjoy some quality time in the nature. Enjoy a short 15 minutes or ½ hour Family friendly horse riding, comfortable riding rounds of the local theme park. There are calm horses suitable for children and inexperienced riders as well for very confident riders. At the stables there are animals such as chicken and rabbits for everyone to enjoy, as well as a children corner with farm related amenities.

After this interesting experience we drive back to port where you can either spend more time in the city or re-embark, depending on your wishes and time spam.

NOTE!
The Terrace Houses section is located inside of Ancient City of Ephesus and has extra entrance fee – 15 USD per person. So called as the houses of rich, the oldest building dates back into the 1C BC. You will be able to see fine mosaics and frescoes and the famous heating system thru clay pipes. Inside this section are over 100 steps and glass scaffoldings. Not recommended for people with physical disabilities. Minimum require time to visit is 30 minutes.
Recommended to inform us prior the tour date if you want to add its visit!

Ancient city of Ephesus it’s an open air museum and includes 1.5 km. walking.
