HD TOUR to Andiparos
Our coach and escort will await the group in Parikia. From there the bus takes drive to Punda from where we take the ferry to Antiparos.
By coach we proceed to the famous Cave of the island, probably the oldest in Greece. In the arched entrance of the Cave we see the little picturesque Church of Agios Ioannis tou Spilioti (which means in Greek St. John of the Cave).
At the entrance of the cave there is a huge stalagmite which is the oldest in Europe and dates back 45 million years! A staircase of 411 steps leads us down to the heart of the cave at a depth of 100m. Everywhere you can admire the unique formations of stalactites and stalagmites.
Then back by bus to Chora, the capital of this little island.
We stroll through the picturesque town with the small paved street, the market and visit the Venetian fortress, built in the 15th century to house and protect the inhabitants from the frequent pirate raids.
Then we catch the ferry back to Paros for the transfer back to Parikia-town. Here there will be free time for shopping and wondering around before taking the tender-boat back to the ship.
